Video: Animals flee Kaziranga National Park as floods worsen in Assam

The Kaziranga National Park is experiencing severe flooding, causing many animals to leave the park for higher ground.

This movement has been observed along NH37, which borders the park. To ensure the safety of the animals, police authorities issued traffic diversions on Monday.

All passenger vehicles, both private and commercial, are required to move at a regulated speed, escorted by police and forest staff every half hour. Additionally, the movement of commercial heavy vehicles through the park has been restricted.

These measures aim to protect the animals as they seek shelter from the flooding.
