Atal Bihari Vajpayee cremated with full state honours

Atal Bihari Vajpayee's funeral hearse drove across Delhi today at a gentle pace, slowly enough for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a teeming column of mourners to keep up on foot. Draped in saffron and white flowers, the military vehicle travelled to the Rashtriya Smriti Sthal -- where the great statesman, a former prime minister, was cremated with full state honours.
