Bangladesh considers illegal immigration in Assam as India's internal matter: Gowher Rizvi

Gowher Rizvi, advisor to Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that the issue of illegal immigration in Assam is an internal matter of India and the people in Bangladesh don't take it very seriously. Speaking at India Today Conclave East 2018, Rizvi said in the past 10 years, during which he has been the Bangladeshi PM's adviser, the Indian government never took up the issue of illegal immigrants with Bangladesh.
