Battling coronavirus: Testing needs to be scale up, says Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw

In an exclusive interview with India Today, Biocon's Chairperson and Managing Director Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw told that testing needs to be scale up to contain the spread of coronavirus.

Shaw said, "Right now, between all the govt labs roughly about 10 to 15 thousand tests are being done in a day across the country. This needs to be rapidly scale up to at least 100 thousand to 200 thousand tests a day. Without the private sector involvement, this can't be done."
