Bengal panchayat polls: TMC not responsible for Bhangar violence, says Mamata Banerjee

Day after clashes broke out between TMC and ISF workers in the Bhangar area of South 24 Parganas district, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said TMC was not responsible for Bhangar violence and added that two TMC backers were killed in the violence. 

She was reacting after Governor CV Ananda Bose expressed his shock over the deaths that were reported during the violence which broke out ahead of the panchayat polls. 

Clashes again broke out between TMC and ISF workers in the Bhangar area of South 24 Parganas district on the last day of filing of nomination papers for West Bengal panchayat polls.
