Bereft of the country I always considered my own: Aatish Taseer

Aatish Taseer, the Indian-origin writer and journalist who lost his Overseas Citizen of India card recently, says he is in grief and feels bereft of the country he always considered as his own.

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Aatish Taseer had written a controversial article in the TIME Magazine on Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the title "Divider-in-chief". However, the Home Ministry has denied that the revocation of Aatish Taseer's OCI card has anything to do with the TIME Magazine article.
