Bhabanipur bypoll: Man paints body with TMC flag, hails Mamata Banerjee

A supporter of West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee was seen in Bhabanipur with his body painted with the colours of the TMC flag and the 'jora ghas phul', the party's poll symbol.

"My name is Ajeet. I am not bothered about today's Bhabanipur result nor even I have thought about it. I want Mamata Banerjee to win in 2024," the man said.

Earlier, TMC workers and supporters were seen dancing to 'Khela Hobe' outside Mamata Banerjee's residence in Kolkata as the Bengal chief minister led by a wide margin during the counting of votes in Bhabanipur byelection.
