Bihar encephalitis outbreak: Suspended doctor denies allegations, says name was not in duty roster

The encephalitis outbreak has claimed more than 140 lives in Bihar.

A senior resident doctor in the SKMCH Muzaffarpur, Bhimsen Kumar, was suspended for negligence after not showing up for night duty in the ICU.

Dr Bhimsen Kumar cried foul claiming that his name was not enlisted in the duty roster and alleged that the allegations are false.
