BJP has done extremely well, I congratulate PM Modi on victory: Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik

In an Exclusive interview to India Today TV, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said, “Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) did extremely well in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls and I congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his amazing victory.”

While BJP won by a huge mandate in many states, in Odisha, Naveen Patnaik’s Biju Janata Dal party (BJD) continued its magic by winning 112 Assembly seats in the 147-member House.

On his massive victory in the Assembly elections, he said, “We have always concentrated on the welfare and development programmes and this takes us to our victory.”

Meanwhile in Odisha the votershare of the BJP surged almost by 16 per cent in this election.
