BJP unwilling to relinquish power, democracy in danger: Rakesh Tikait | Exclusive

In an exclusive interview to India Today TV, Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) spokesperson Rakesh Tikait said democracy in the country is in danger as the BJP is unwilling to let go of power. The farmer leader also alleged that the BJP has control over the police, courts and the Election Commission and the only way to oust the saffron party from power is through agitation.

Tikait 's comments come as voting for the first phase of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls is underway. The elections in the country's largest state will be held in seven phases.
