Congress leader Ahmed Patel on Saturday reacted to the Maharashtra deal for chief minister's seat and said: "Today was a black spot in the history of Maharashtra. Everything was done in a hushed manner and early morning. Something is wrong somewhere. Nothing can be more shameful than this."
"Everything was decided and we were on board. Only a few things were remaining so we were to meet at 12.30 pm today. We had principally agreed to the coalition, met Sharad Pawar in Delhi and discussed issues. Till last evening some issues were to be sorted and today, final shape was to take place. But, what happened in the morning, there is no word to explain that", Patel said.
