Brij Bhushan Singh reacts to Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia joining Congress

Former BJP MP Brij Bhushan Singh, against whom wrestlers had levelled sexual harassment allegations, claimed that Olympian wrestler Vinesh Phogat "deserved" whatever happened to her, after she joined Congress.

He called Vinesh Phogat the "face of the Congress conspiracy" and claimed that she was part of a plot hatched against him by Congress leader Deepender Hooda and Bhupinder Hooda.

Claiming that "Vinesh was not entitled to go to the Olympics," Bhushan said, "She had taken away another player's rightful spot in the Olympics".

He further claimed that Olympian wrestler Bajrang Punia, who also joined Congress, had "used his wife" to join politics.
