'But who represents NCP': Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar's exclusive with India Today

Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar said neither of the two factions -- led by Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar -- have submitted a letter notifying him of the split in the Nationalist Congress Party. He said that he had received disqualification petitions but he could ascertain and take a decision only after the NCP's leadership and "representative" was cleared. 

His statements came amid a political upheaval in Maharashtra governance and the rebellion against the NCP, led by the party's chief Sharad Pawar's nephew, Ajit Pawar. Ajit Pawar, along with eight other legislators, joined hands with the Eknath Shinde-led government in a stunning move on Sunday.
