Congress erupts over PM Modi's Ramayan remark directed at Renuka Chowdhary

After Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a jibe at Congress MP Renuka Chowdhury at Rajya Sabha yesterday, Congress tweeted that they condemned Prime Minister's remark against Renuka Chowdhury. The Party also blamed Rajya Sabha chairman Venkaiah Naidu for acting in a partisan manner and admonishing Renuka Chowdhary for disrupting the parliament.

Renuka Chowdhary was heard laughly loudly during Prime Minister's speech when Venkaiah Naidu rebuked her. The Prime Minister interrupted him and made a sarcastic remark saying he hadn't heard of such a booming laughter since the telecast of the Ramayan serial since the 1980s.
