Covid-19: Air India suspends contract of nearly 200 pilots amid lockdown

Amid the ongoing lockdown in India to stem the spread of coronavirus, Air India on Thursday temporarily suspended the contracts of nearly 200 pilots, as all domestic and international commercial passenger flights have been suspended in the country till April 14.

This comes at a time when coronavirus cases in India have surged to more than 2,000 and has claimed over 60 lives. Watch the detailed video here.
