India Today's ground report amid Cyclone Dana landfall, rain pounds Odisha

Severe Cyclonic Storm Dana battered the coastal districts of Odisha and parts of West Bengal after making landfall late Thursday night. With wind speeds exceeding 110 km/h, the storm brought heavy rainfall and intense gusts to the region.

The landfall process is ongoing, with the rear sector of the cyclone now entering land. IMD estimates the landfall will continue for another 1-2 hours.
