Cyclone Fani: Severe cyclonic storm to hit Odisha | Ground Report from Puri

Cyclone Fani is expected to make landfall in coastal areas of Odisha on May 3. The cyclonic storm has intensified into an "extreme severe cyclone". Cyclone Fani is likely to impact coastal districts like Ganjam, Gajapati, Khurda, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Balasore.

Defence forces are on high alert, educational institutions have been ordered shut and over 8 lakh people in coastal districts are being evacuated as Odisha braces for cyclone Fani. 50 teams of Odisha Fire Services are on high alert. Watch the full ground report.
