Delhi air quality worsens. Environment minister calls meeting, sets measures

The Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi deteriorated further on Monday morning, lingering in the "very poor" category. In response to the escalating pollution levels, Delhi's Environment Minister Gopal Rai convened a meeting with various departments involved in implementing the central government's pollution control plan. He emphasized the implementation of the second phase of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) in Delhi. Rai also stressed the need for control over pollution sources and mentioned measures such as increased frequency of buses and trains.
