Delhi HC quashes plea seeking to halt Central Vista project construction work

The Delhi High court has quashed the plea seeking a halt of construction activity of the Central Vista project.

The HC said that since the construction workers are residing on site, there is no question of stay on the project construction.

It further stated that the project is an essential one with national importance and cannot be seen in isolation. The court also observed that legality of the project has been upheld.
