Dhanbad District Judge Uttam Anand was killed after being hit by a speeding tempo on Wednesday while his morning walk. Hours later, the investigation into the CCTV footage seemed to indicate that the incident may have been deliberate and not an accident.

While the police are investigating the matter, reports say the tempo was reported stolen hours before the judge's death.
