Doctors to Bombers: J&K Police Bust Jaish-Linked Terror Module Targeting Red Fort

The investigation began in October with the arrest of Mufti Irfan Ahmed, a 24-year-old cleric from Shopian, which led to the uncovering of a wider network linked to Jaish-e-Mohammad. According to the report, 'The motivation does not require any degree of education. And even the less educated people or normally educated people can motivate others, maybe elder to them or maybe more educated to them'. The plot involved stockpiling nearly 3,000 kilograms of explosives in Faridabad, with key figures including Maulana Ishtiaq and several doctors like Dr. Muzammil and Dr. Umar Nabi, who was groomed to be a suicide bomber. The intended attack was planned for December 6th as revenge for the Babri Masjid demolition.
