Five Congress MLAs and two MLCs (Members of the Legislative Council) in Karnataka have threatened to resign from the party due to a dispute over Lok Sabha ticket distribution, which is a major setback for the Congress.
The MLAs said they will meet the Speaker and resign if the Congress gives the Kolar Lok Sabha seat to a relative of Food and Civil Supplies Minister, KH Muniyappa.
