The Supreme Court on Thursday granted permission to former Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti's daughter Sana Iltija to travel to Srinagar, Kashmir, to meet her mother.
In an exclusive interview to the India Today TV, Sana Iltija alleged that she was harassed and intimidated by the Special Security Group (SSG). The development comes after Sana filed a petition in the top court demanding permission to meet her mother, who has been under detention for over a month.
Several politicians from Jammu and Kashmir have been put under detention while the Kashmir Valley continues under heavy lockdown. Strict restrictions were imposed in Jammu and Kashmir after the Centre revoked Article 370 of the Constitution, that provided special status to J&K.
