Former Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey joins Nitish Kumar-led JDU

A month ahead of Bihar assembly polls, former Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey has officially joined the Nitish Kumar-led JD-U.

Pandey, who came into the limelight following Sushant Singh Rajput death case, has joined the party in presence of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar.

He opted for a voluntary retirement from service on 23 September, which was approved by the Bihar govt and even waived off 3 month cooling off period.
