Gandhi family's SPG cover to be removed: Sources

The SPG security cover of the Gandhi family -- Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will soon be removed, sources told India Today TV on Friday.

Sources, however, said the Gandhi family will be provided 'Z+' security cover of CRPF on all-India basis.

Earlier in August, the government had removed former prime minister Manmohan Singh's SPG cover.

Till now, only four people have SPG security cover -- PM Narendra Modi and three members of the Gandhi family.
