Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has sparked a controversy stating that organisers would be incurring a "great injustice" upon former Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi if the latter isn't invited to attend the "bhoomi pujan" event in Ayodhya.
Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury also said the organisers should invite the former chief justice as, the Congress leader said, he was "instrumental" in shaping the Ram temple verdict.
In a tweet, Adhir Ranjan Gogoi said, "...the organizer that they should invite Former chief justice of India Mr. Ranjon Gogoi who was happened to be instrumental to the grand verdict on Ram temple to attend the grand ceremony, else a great injustice will be incurred upon the former chief justice of India."
