Gujarat set to form committee for Uniform Civil Code implementation: Sources

After Uttarakhand, Gujarat plans to implement a Uniform Civil Code, with a committee likely to be announced on Tuesday. Sources indicate a 3-5 member panel will be formed. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi are expected to make the announcement at a press conference at 12:15 pm today, sources added.
