Hathras case: 5 members of victim's family appear before HC

Hearing is underway in the Hathras case and five members of the victim's family have appeared before the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court. All summoned UP officials are also present in the court.

Taking suo motu cognisance of the incident, the high court bench had on October 1 asked the woman's family to apprise it of their version of the brutality. The court had also summoned UP additional chief secretary, DGP, ADG (law and order ) as well as the district magistrate and superintendent of police of Hathras.
