Heavy rains throw normal life out of gear in Mumbai, Maharashtra

Normal life has been thrown out of gear in Mumbai and parts of Maharashtra due to incessant rains. Intense rainfall and heavy waterlogging in several areas of Mumbai has badly hit traffic. Schools will remain closed in Thane and Palghar in view of IMD’s forecast of heavy rains.

Mumbai Police has also issued an advisory, asking people to not travel unless absolutely necessary and also not to go near sea due to chances of a high tide. Watch the ground report for yourself.
