India, Russia against outside influence in internal matters of any nation: Modi at Eastern Economic Forum

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that India and Russia are against "outside influence" in internal matters of any nation. PM Modi's statement came after holding extensive talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Modi's comment also come days after the Union government revoked Article 370 of the Indian Constitution, that granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir.

Russia has backed India's move, claiming that changes made in the status of J&K are within the framework of the Indian Constitution. Modi is currently in Russia as a chief guest of the 5th Eastern Economic Forum.
