Is fuel price hike the only option? 

Fuel prices have been hiked again by 80 paise today. This was the 14th hike in 16 days and now petrol and diesel are being sold at more than 100 rupees a litre in many cities.

So, is fuel price hike the only option? Does govt have an inflation battle plan? And price freeze during polls, why not now?
