In an interview with India Today TV, Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri spoke about a range of issues including the Balakot strike and India's tough stand against terror that breeds from Pakistan soil.
"The security doctrine of the country has been slow but evolving. The recent air strikes were couched in a classical anti-terror mould. It was not aimed at civilians or military targets. After due diligence and intelligence, the terror target, which was a jihadi seminary, was located. We used aircraft and went into Pakistan with precision, guided missiles and fixed targets," he said.
