Curfew has been imposed in Jharkhand's Jamshedpur after protests against the lynching incidents that left 9 people dead. The administration was forced to imposed curfew in the industrial town after 9 people were killed within few days.
Two people have been arrested so far and 20 other suspects have been detained.
The violence starts with a false rumour that there was a child lifting gangs operating in the area. Six people were lynched to death by villagers in three places in Jharkhand on May 18. The incidents took place between Thursday and Friday the the victims were beaten to death over suspicion that they were child lifters.
