Video | Stones rain down on Badrinath Highway during landslide in Joshimath

A landslide occurred on the Badrinath National Highway in Uttarakhand's Joshimath on Wednesday with massive rocks falling onto a tunnel on the highway. Joshimath is already facing a calamity since January this year when close to 900 houses developed cracks due to land subsidence. 

Heavy rainfall has been battering most parts of northern India, including Uttarakhand, for the last few days, leading to loss of lives and destruction of property.
