JP Nadda appointed BJP working president

Former Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda on Monday was appointed as the working president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The decision was taken during a BJP parliamentary board meetup, which was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and newly appointed Home Minister Amit Shah.

The low-profile leader, who hails from Himachal Pradesh, was the main behind PM Narendra Modi’s flagship programme--Ayushman Bharat.
