The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has distanced itself from the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) event stampede that resulted in 11 deaths. KSCA claimed it only provided the Chinnaswamy Stadium on a rental basis and had no role in organising the event or managing the crowd. The cricket body blamed the Karnataka government, RCB, and DNA Networks for the incident. Despite KSCA's denial, it has been named in the FIR along with RCB and DNA Networks.
