Karnataka crisis: All Congress ministers in state cabinet resign to placate rebel MLAs

All Congress ministers in the JD(S)-Congress coalition government in Karnataka have resigned in an effort to save the toppling state government. The ministers reportedly submitted their resignation to Karnataka Congress party chief Dinesh Gundu Rao to placate the rebel MLAs after a meeting chaired by Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara on Monday.

The rebel MLAs, most of whom are currently lodged up in a hotel in Mumbai, have maintained their stand that they will not take back their resignations.
