Kerala: 24-year-old woman found hanging at home days after alleging harassment over dowry

Vismaya, 24, was found hanging inside the bathroom of her house at Sasthamcotta in Kerala's Kollam district on Monday morning.

Vismaya's family has alleged that she was assaulted and threatened over dowry issues by her husband. The police have accessed WhatsApp chats between Vismaya and one of her relatives that suggest she was being subjected to brutal violence.

Police have arrested the victim's husband.
