Manish Tewari backs Agnipath scheme, says armed forces are not employment guarantee programme

Congress MP Manish Tewari has backed the govt's Agnipath recruitment scheme and said that the armed forces are not an employment guarantee programme.

He said, "The nature of warfare has completely transformed itself over the last decade. And the armed forces are not an employment guarantee programme."
