The hospitals in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura are overwhelmed with the rise in cases of viral fever and dengue in the district. Many villagers in Mathura have mortgaged their properties to afford treatment for their children and loved ones, who have suffered from viral fever and dengue, in private hospitals.
Meanwhile, the authorities in Mathura said the situation is under control.
"Eight to ten children have died so far. They got treatment but couldnt survive," Rachna Gupta, Chief Medical Officer of Mathura, said.
