Mayawati says no BSP-SP alliance for 2019 Lok Sabha elections

The Bahujan Samaj Party and Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party (SP) have not formed an alliance in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, BSP chief Mayawati said.

She made these comments after her party's Gorakhpur in-charge, Ghanshyam Chandra Kharwar, declared support for Praveen Kumar Nishad, an SP candidate for an upcoming Lok Sabha bypoll, according to ANI.
