Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has issued a threat to Mika Singh after the singer stoked a controversy by posting a video in which he urged his fans in Houston to join in the celebration of independence days of India and 'apna Pakistan'.
Mika urged his fans in Houston, "Join me in celebrating Independence Day celebrations of India and Apna Pakistan."
MNS leader Ameya Khopkar tweeted, "Mika Singh is doing Hamara Pakistan concert in USA. Open challenge to him, try holding a mic in Maharashtra now."
Weighing in on the controversy, veteran Bollywood actor Raza Murad said, "Mika is an Indian singer. It seems someone is putting words in his mouth. India and Pakistan can never co-exist. If Mika has said this by mistake, he must clarify."
