Nirbhaya's kin wait for justice, cold waves grip north India; more
Justice in the Nirbhaya rape-murder case is still awaited even as the Delhi High Court, after adjourning the hearing in the plea filed by one of the four convicts to January 24, recalled its order and said it will hear the matter today itself. Its decision came after the lawyer representing Nirbhaya's parents filed a plea objecting to the adjournment.
Meanwhile, cold wave intensified in north India. Heavy fog engulfed Delhi while all schools in Uttar Pradesh were closed on Thursday.
