No action will be taken against members of parliament who created a ruckus in the Lok Sabha, according to sources. The ruckus occurred after the Home Minister Amit Shah tabled three bills. Opposition MPs entered the well of the House, tore copies of the bills, and threw them. Following the incident, opposition MPs alleged that women MPs were pushed by members of the ruling party. However, according to sources in the Lok Sabha Secretariat, a review of CCTV footage did not show any pushing or shoving. The government's position is that it "is not in a mood to take any action and the government is trying to get as many bills as possible passed." The focus remains on passing legislation, including constitutional amendments related to Jammu and Kashmir and a bill concerning online gaming.
