In a fiery speech in Darbhanga, Bihar, Union Home Minister Amit Shah lambasted the Congress and RJD, accusing them of promoting dynastic politics. Slamming the opposition, he said, 'Lalu ji wants to make his son the Chief Minister and Sonia ji wants to make Rahul Baba the Prime Minister... I want to tell them both, no CM or PM seat is vacant. Here it is Nitish Kumar Ji, and there it is Modi ji.' Shah contrasted this with the BJP's focus on youth, citing the party giving a ticket to 25-year-old singer Maithili Thakur. He highlighted the Nitish Kumar government's welfare schemes, including the financial assistance to Jivika Didis and pension hikes. Accusing the opposition of rampant corruption with references to the fodder and land-for-job scams, Shah promised a new ₹500 crore cultural museum in Darbhanga to preserve Mithila's heritage.
