Not fair to blame entire Congress for 1984 riots: Punjab CM to India Today

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has stirred a controversy after he came out to defend Congress chief Rahul Gandhi who gave a clean chit to the Grand Old Party for its alleged role in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. Captain Amarinder said that Rahul was in school during the time of Operation Bluestar and hence blaming him for the violence that saw the massacre of Sikhs in the Capital was absurd.
