On day 15 of rescue op, vertical drilling begins from hill above Uttarkashi tunnel

In the ongoing Uttarkashi tunnel rescue operation in Uttarakhand, Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) has initiated vertical drilling work on the top of the tunnel. As a secondary approach, vertical drilling work commenced from the hill situated above the tunnel. These efforts aim to expedite the rescue operation for the 41 workers trapped inside the tunnel since a portion of it collapsed on November 12.
