P Chidambaram's arrest: As it happened

Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram was taken into custody on Wednesday after more than 24 hours of high drama.

CBI officers were even seen scaling walls at Chidambaram's Delhi residence in a bid to arrest him. After being taken into custody, Chidambaram was taken to CBI headquarters for questioning and a medical examination was also conducted.
