PM cuts convoy to 2 cars amid austerity push, but Bihar CM retains 21 vehicles

Days after the call for austerity measures, PM Modi reduced his own cavalcade to just two vehicles while several BJP ministers followed suit, but Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary just switched to an electric vehicle. However, his cavalcade still included twenty-one other petrol and diesel vehicles. Meanwhile, Kapil Mishra used the Delhi Metro to show compliance with the Prime Minister's suggestions. The central government has also advised ministers to reduce spending on imported items to minimise resource consumption.
