PM Modi defends new farm laws, says Opposition misleading farmers

Even as farmers continue their agitation at Delhi borders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today defended the new farm laws and slammed Opposition for misleading farmers.

Addressing a rally in Varanasi, PM Modi said that farmer bills will benefit all farmers and will give them legal protection while freeing them from middlemen.

PM Modi also said that the previous goverments have always treated the agrarian sector as a vote bank and have always duped the farmers.
